<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Capitalfail67</b></div><div>lol im not looking up the link you easily can ... google is the fastest way imo. But for now lets use common sense... Murray was once on an ELC ------&gt; then he signed a bridge deal.... so lets think for a moment.... after a bridge deal comes...? oh yes a payday contract more $$$ x 5years. lets even say he takes the Holtby deal thats 6million for 4-5 years. doubt any team is breaking down the door when they could get RL / Holtby for that cost and keep the assets</div></div>

Ive already googled it plenty of times and no such link exists. So I ask again, what is your source for your claim other then the math you are doing yourself.

<a href="https://pittsburghhockeynow.com/sizing-up-matt-murray-next-contract-pittsburgh-penguins/#:~:text=Murray%20currently%20makes%20%243.75%20million,disaster%20which%20neither%20party%20wants" rel="nofollow noreferrer noopener" target="_blank">https://pittsburghhockeynow.com/sizing-up-matt-murray-next-contract-pittsburgh-penguins/#:~:text=Murray%20currently%20makes%20%243.75%20million,disaster%20which%20neither%20party%20wants</a>.

This is the closest guestimate that I can even find. Which they put it at roughly 5m for 2-3 years which last I checked is 3m less than the 8m you and other people out here are seemingly valueing a Murray contract at, or rather in your specific case "Claiming he said this" When he didnt. Like I get it, you guys dont value him at all after last season, that's fine, that can be your argument you dont need to throw in cap numbers. You want to say he isn't worth x player is fine on its own. But further justifying it with a bold faced lie? Do better.
