Ducks still have no need for Hornqvist, and no reason to help you out of your cap issues.

"help you out of your cap issues" again. They already took Gubranson.

Hyman aint for sale. He brings something to the top line that cant easily be replaced. Freidman already said Dubas got offers for him but he immediately turned them down as he does not plan on trading him

Plus u dont trade a guy who had 21 goals despite missing 2 months of the season and is only making 2.25mill

Columbus still has no interest in this trade. We can get better value else where, were Anderson isn’t in our own division.

But they are giving you a 4th line winger with 36 points in 118 games..... his "advance stats" say hes the next Stone lol.... not to mention Murray who is coming off a career low and before the season started he claimed to want 8million a year.... so you can have a more expensive downgrade in net plus a downgrade at wing for only 2 2nd round picks

And if we trade him for picks, they better be in 2020, not off in the distant future of 2023.

Hyman not going anywhere. This wouldn't be enough for me to trade Hyman alone, much less with two 2nd rounders.

The Leafs fleece the Pens recently, not the other way around

"Murray who is coming off a career low and before the season started he claimed to want 8million a year"
Source? Where did he say this because everyone keeps trying to say it again and again and I cannot find it anywhere. And Im local to PGH. No beat writers have claimed it, they may have speculated how much he will cost, but never once have I seen this "He claimed he wants 8million a year." So can you provide the link to the story or source?

lol im not looking up the link you easily can ... google is the fastest way imo. But for now lets use common sense... Murray was once on an ELC ------> then he signed a bridge deal.... so lets think for a moment.... after a bridge deal comes...? oh yes a payday contract more $$$ x 5years. lets even say he takes the Holtby deal thats 6million for 4-5 years. doubt any team is breaking down the door when they could get RL / Holtby for that cost and keep the assets

Ive already googled it plenty of times and no such link exists. So I ask again, what is your source for your claim other then the math you are doing yourself.

https://pittsburghhockeynow.com/sizing-up-matt-murray-next-contract-pittsburgh-penguins/#:~:text=Murray%20currently%20makes%20%243.75%20million,disaster%20which%20neither%20party%20wants.

This is the closest guestimate that I can even find. Which they put it at roughly 5m for 2-3 years which last I checked is 3m less than the 8m you and other people out here are seemingly valueing a Murray contract at, or rather in your specific case "Claiming he said this" When he didnt. Like I get it, you guys dont value him at all after last season, that's fine, that can be your argument you dont need to throw in cap numbers. You want to say he isn't worth x player is fine on its own. But further justifying it with a bold faced lie? Do better.

after last season/prior to this season .... he had a good year and recently won a cup. Vasilevskiy signed $9.5 million salary, John Gibson signed a six-year extension with Anaheim worth $6.4 million per season and Connor Hellebuyck agreed to a six-year deal with an average annual salary of $6.167 million... after those deals were done and i believe Fluery signed a 7m $$ deal he said he wasnt taking a discount on his next contract. the number 8million was thrown a lot after which generally means it was mentioned at some point in time.... morethan likely he signs 5.5-6.5m deal but still a lot considering how deep the UFA market is. ill try to find the exact thing i read on this but again hardly matter it came out before this bad season he had... again all this is based off last season not this so chill out with you little hissy fit. Name the last time a player is leaked giving his exact $$$ amount dont be a clown.... sources are implying (based off him not taking a discount) what he wanted.... more than Gibson less than Vas. you lack all common sense if you cant comprehend this
