Quoting: jslongo

Make a list from 1 to 10 of the teams that you think are the top 10 in the league. Put them in order. After 48 hours, I will tally up everyone's choices and rank the teams based of everyone's opinions.

1. St. Louis Blues --- Easily one of the best teams, they show heart and pride in their play, and have a fantastic defensive system. Best team in the League IMO.

2. Colorado Avalanche --- Best team full of young Stars. Their Blueline headed by Bowen Byram and Cale Makar for years to come will be scary. IMO the best first line in the league, with Landeskog - MacKinnon - Rantanen. No doubt this team will be a powerhouse for years to come.

3. Boston Bruins --- Ask me two years ago, and as painful as it is, this team was the best. Not sure about right now, as their core is aging, and the prospect pool isn't as deep as others. Still a great team headed by Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak

4. Philadelphia Flyers --- A dark horse team in the league. This team plays an all around solid game. Not too many cracks in their team.

5. Tampa Bay Lightning --- Ah yes, the salary cap. A record setting team with a vezina Goalie. Not sure if they can keep the thunder (pun intended) going after undoubtedly a few key departures this offseason. Do they have the cap space to keep all the RFAs???? Who knows. Still a great team.

6. Pittsburgh Penguins --- Spearheaded by one of the best 1-2 punches in the league with Gino and Sid, this team's ability to overcome injury blows my mind every time. Great team. and especially great at finding value players. Not sure if they can keep it up with Sid and Gino aging.....

7. Washington Capitals --- One of the best pure goal scorers the game has ever seen. great up and coming goalkeeping in Samsonov and Copley. But alas, Washington is gracefully aging alongside Pittsburgh and Boston. Still think this team will be good for years to come, but what about after Ovi Leaves????

8. Toronto Maple Leafs --- Ah yes, the Leafs. Great forward core, best in the league. Undoubtedly, one of the best 3rd lines in the league. Great at finding diamonds from the KHL. Goaltending is solid with Campbell and Andersen. But, their Defensive weaknesses outshine all their great firepower. Will Liljegren and Sandin be up there with other young Defenses, who knows, hopefully. Give this team a couple years to grow and mature, and they could easily be top 5 in the league. The Sky is the limit!!!

9. Carolina Hurricanes --- People don't give this bunch of jerks enough credit! Great defence on great contracts. Easily a top ten team in the league. Great all around team. Weakness, goaltending, its hot or cold.

10. Edmonton Oilers --- BAM BAM!! Hit in the face with 2 great forwards in C-Money and Draisaitl. Overall this is an okay team, and their prospect pool is full of promise. however, this team still cant bridge themselves to the playoffs...hopefully they can win before McDavid wants out!

Just Missed:
Dallas Stars, Calgary Flames, Vegas Golden Knights, Columbus Blue Jackets.
