SRNY Summer Fantasy Hockey Trade
That’s Adam Fantilli’s emotional support tiny winger, thank you.
Also you’re going to have to take back about seven million in cap for Columbus to fit Panarin, who still says no because he wanted a garage and we don’t have those in Ohio. So sad.

They have no long term RD1 (Severson is a poor mans RD1, great RD2 imo) without Jiricek so he's insanely important to them.
If I were a fan of a team in another situation, I'd be super interested in making a move for Nylander and paying up (I think he's very worth 9+ mil), but it just doesn't fit Columbus at all.</div></div>

Making Cam work
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Indy</b></div><div>Bemstrom needs to go the other way and been saying this for awhile. He's Wild Bill 2.0 that's gonna break out into a top 6 somewhere but not here. Since Philly is going to take town he would be a perfect winger to them to try in the next 2/3 years while waiting for Michkov to arrive. Cam here would add even more leadership with Gudbranson, Kuraly and Boone in the locker room with the young kids and get even people like Laine to play to the best of their abilities. Also if he's on the 3rd line with Sillinger another experienced guy who would help him out as he played better with more experienced players on his side.
Normally I get mad at bringing aging players in on the wings since we need the kids to play but at 2 years and him being a 3rd line winger...BRING HIM HOME</div></div>
I don't hate Bemstrom, but I don't see any comparison between him and Wild Bill. PHI can have him if they want. They could swap out Pyyhtia for any of the players I mentioned in the trade notes.
I still have hope for Sillinger, but I'm leaning towards bust with him until he proves otherwise. Not saying he can't figure it out, but he's got a lot of work to do if he's going to make it.
And I wouldn't say we <em><strong>need</strong></em> kids to play. The best players can play, and it's good to have youth pushing from behind to keep guys motivated. Organizational depth is a good problem, and I'm fine with China and Sillinger tearing up the AHL until they take someone's job.

Because I don't believe it, I'm saying that there are concerns to his game that he should be addressing bc he struggled.
I 100% have the confidence and balls to say that a player isn't as good as advertised... I've said that about guys like: Mitch Marner, Cole Caufield, Connor McDavid, The top 6 in EDM, Pettersson, Hughes (2/3 anyway), the Tkachuks, Wilson etc.
I believe Vasy is better, I do have my concerns about him though just like I do with Sammy and other goalies in the league

Hertl had one near point per game season 5 years ago and so many Jackets fans want to trade a bag for him. He's about to turn 30 and hasn't shown anything to support the idea that he'd suddenly get better and be worth his $8M/year on the Jackets. I don't get it.

Not a fan from Stars perspective. Fail to see how exactly Peeke is an upgrade from Hakanpää, both are just big third pair D-men. Peeke probably has more value due to being younger and inked long term, but I would not swap the two with the cost of Dellandrea.

Texier's also not going to be traded after the team just waited nearly 2 years for him to deal with some personal situations.
The value isn't really an issue, but the pieces involved and the whole premise of the trade just don't fit what CBJ would want.</div></div>

Jackets might give up a second to move Gudbranson IF a trade for Lindholm is happening and they need extra cap space for the extension. Otherwise, there is really no need to move Gudbranson and absolutely not at the cost of either of those two players.

My Crack At Best 23 Man Rostert No ELCs
Nice. Good team.
Moves to consider…
Elias Lindholm for Joe Pavelski +$1.350m
Jonas Siegenthaler for KAndre Miller -$0.472m
Connor Brown for Daniel Sprong -$1.225m
Taylor Raddysh for Luostarinen -$0.742m (min AAV on bench)
Jalen Chatfield for Rasmus Sandin -$0.637m (min AAV on bench)
That gives an extra $1.821m to upgrade Robertson to Tkachuk…or Tippet to Duchene…or whatever

My Crack At Best 23 Man Rostert No ELCs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Trevor31lv</b></div><div>I did consider Duchene, but at center I'd rather have either of Necas/Stephenson for the same/less. Not a bad option to upgrade on the wing, but I personally think there's better places to spend that extra 1.5 difference.
Decided to make these changes to end up with what I have now
In - Robertson (Playing RW), Sprong, Dahlin, Pesce
Out - Makar, Nylander, Texier, Hakanpaa, Maroon
Also swapped Sandin in for Liljegern, but same salary so just a preference change there.
Do like this change a bit over the original, though I had the 23 man roster since that's what others were doing, so feels a bit like cheating to just run the normal 22 haha.
Would add that you could upgrade from Robertson to Rantanen or Tkachuk (if you consider that one) by swapping out Pesce for one of Sandin/Liljegren and having the other as 7th D or some other change along those lines, but I thought the difference from Robertson wasn't worth the D downgrade personally.</div></div>
Haha, well if you got to go back to 23-man then put in Connor Brown at 775K, and look for someone cheaper than Sprong I guess lol or Robo. Teams looks much more solid now with that Dcore imo.

My Crack At Best 23 Man Rostert No ELCs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Trevor31lv</b></div><div>Don't mind that. First run had Makar/Dahlin/Montour, but left me a bit short of course so made the change here, along with a couple others. I'd really like to keep Miller cause he's just one of those guys for me I'm way higher on, but going something like Dahlin/Montour/Pesce on the right side is super solid and gives a bit more consistency tp to bottom.
What would you suggest to do upfront? Will admit that the top 6 is a bit of a step down from most of these I've seen, but I think the blue line is insane (as is or with the changes you had) and makes up for it. Absolutely love the Marchand/Verhaeghe combo for 10 mil, and think that there's a lot of value/money on the top 2 RW, even if there's not a top, top end guy. I really really love the bottom 6 though, think that's insane value across the board and the only thing I'd really consider changing is Tex (went with him cause CBJ fan + he was playing insane prior to going to France for personal reasons).</div></div>
Well, I would drop Maroon and go with a 22-man roster, if it has to be 23-man then take Connor Brown at 775k. Would give you 2.325M up front to replace Texier. If you can find a bit more to get to 2.5M can get Barabanov. Maybe Hartman over Stephenson? Probably, better to play Liljegren and get a cheaper 7th over Hakanpaa though. At 3M there's Duchene.

Should go with Dahlin over Makar, and spend more upfront. Or replace Hakanpaa+Makar with Dahlin+Dobson/Pesce or something. If you want even LD and RD, then replace Miller as well.

Peeke is a HUGE downgrade on Brodie. Not worth it for the cheaper contract. Furthermore, that is a god awful trade for the Leafs. An F- if they made it
Vladar being the second goalie puts way too much pressure on Woll to be our number 1 guy imo. I don’t like that move.
Nylander for Wright is something I’m on board with but Tanev coming along with him, I’d rather someone else I don’t know the logic on that one given his contract. I’d rather more picks and keeping Brodie.

Absolutely loser trade for Columbus.
What a certain segment of Toronto fans seems completely incapable of grasping is the value of term.
Three seasons of Peeke is worth more than one season of Brodie, no matter what you think that their respective instantaneous impacts is.
Three seasons of Jenner probably won't expire until Minten makes his debut in the NHL in 2025.
And Johnson's entire future as a top-6 center is worth TONS more than one season of Nylander, no matter what you think that their respective temporary impacts is.
I have no ax to grind here, and this one isn't close.
