This is how I thought it through. Firstly, everyone except a few were aweful. Those exceptions include Rask, Bergeron, Krejci, and Coyle. Everyone else looked horrible. Maybe there a few that were acceptable such as Clifton, DeBrusk... but that was still horrible performance. Heinen and Kuhlman are horrible last night. They need to sit, and we need to play a more physical and veteran lineup.
First line: I went with the same thing. Yes risky since they played badly but... they are those who are the head of the team. Get something for them in the locker room and they should do fine.
2nd line: stuck with the same thing exception mojo up onto the 2nd line. Reason for that is that Kuhlman looked horrible and I believe he could benefit with some benching and watching. Yes, it demoralizes him, and everyone would be too but he needs to watch and learn. Also, he needs that attitude that he would be out if he doesn't play well, maybe put him back in when game 3 or 4 is back under way.
3rd line: Pretty big changes the third line. Other than coyle, I added the additions of Backes and Cehlarik. I went with a line that provides a physical game and could score.
Playmaker(I consider Cehlarik that way but...many will have different opinions)-Two way foward- power foward.
Playoffs usually find some older players back into their prime form and Backes/Coyle provides physicality, something we lacked tonight. This line must do something or else Szwarz or Stempniak or Smith will be hoping in, or maybe Carey has himself a good game and push up the lineup.
Line 4: After Kuraly's injury, there has been missing a lot of scoring and good plays from the 4th line. Nordstrom was the opposite of good yesterday and the 4th line didn't work out. I saw Carey fitting into the position of Kuraly. He has been excellent in the AHL, leading the P-Bruins in scoring and that is what we need from our 4th line. He also plays defensive making him a perfect fit on the 4th line. From his call up earlier this season, he made a name for himself and I think it is worth trying him out. If he does garbage, we have replacements, so all pressure is on him.
Defense
First pairing: No changes, would like to but pretty much injuries have done it again.
Second pairing: No changes, need better D from them. Would like to get some changes there too but injuries...
Third pairing: Grizz hasn't had the best of games and I want to shake things up. Grizz is a good D, don't get me wrong but as I said, I want to give some more older players a chance, such as Kampfer. Last time he played, he played above average and he is still capable of playing. Maybe he finds a good game, and if he doesn't, we have other options, so pressure is also on him to play well.
Goalies: The Bruins just called up Vladar so I don't know what is going on but... I would just role with Rask as the starter, unless he gets injured. Halak isn't that bad either. For those who were blaming Rask yesterday, this was what he had to face. A brake away, an aweful deflection, an empty net (nothing he can do), a penalty shot. That is not something good for the goalie, and I doubt Halak could have done much better.
Brutal game yesterday, hopefully this shake things up. Bring up some players to give pressure to those on the roaster. Its better to do this so that they are now forced to play better and have the pressure on them. imo, this is the best the Bruins could do to face the Leafs.

Look, last night was horrible. DO NOT GIVE HALAK THE START. Rask was the ONLY bright point asides from Bergeron, Coyle and maybe Krejci some might argue. Everyone else looks like they don't want to play. Heinen out of the line up NOW! Maybe call up Carey, Stempniak, or Szwarz and start him over Heinen. Backes > Wagner, Wagner is sick on the 4th line, but not as good as the 3rd. Celharik wouldn't be a bad option too. Heinen needs to be out of the lineup. To be honest, Gemel Smith wouldn't be a bad addition too. Kuhlman and Heinen needs to sit, and maybe get Kampfer in there too, will be better than Grizz last game.

This is an all in, not a build a youth team. If we wait, Bergeron, Marchand, Rask, Halak, Krejci will be out of form by the time we build a team with youth. Its all or nothing

Staal isn't going anywhere as he just re-signed on a good deal & I believe he said, he would not waive for Boston. Also, This is an overpay. I know you are shedding backes' contract, but Senyshyn looked like he could play in the NHL as early as next year. He has unreal speed and he didn't strike me as weak on his skates (Like Donato).
Nordstrom - Fine, but I am not sure it will happen. I think they like having a couple NHL ready guys at the end of the roster - for 1m - I'd rather have him sit on the bench and be ready if someone gets hurt. He can skate and is oddly physical for a toothpick.
Heinen - I like Dadonov, but he is already 30 and this is a young man's game. I think he will have a big year next year with Barkov & Trocheck healthy and the fact he is Russian and in a contract year, but I see him turning into a 6m cap hit with 19 goals in 2-3 years. I think I would rather take my chances on Heinen. No Doubt he struggled this year, but at times he really looks like he can play. 47 points as a Rookie is not easy. I'd rather wait him out as the cheaper and "potential" option.
Moore - Why? Shed a little salary, but I'd rather just move him for picks. Personally - I see Miller as odd man out. I think he has more value because he should be a top 4, but he cannot stay healthy. I have to think Krug's time is limited as well.
I feel like you are ignoring their prospects. All of these guys have a realistic chance of making the team.

Next Year ALL IN
Horrible for an all in. If all in, we get Hall and Dzingel, never Virtanen, not good enough. Toffoli maybe but never Nurse. If we were to get a Dman, we would be getting it from Carolina or maybe Kings/Ducks, but not from EDM. And senyshyn with Miller and first for nurse? HORRIBLE! You can get Hall for that if you add in another first and Heinen, horrible trade.

I think he's gonna re-sign there. Long-term. Talking about something like 8x11 contract, maybe.</div></div>
Kinda doubt it. I had like 5 or 6 sources on the internet and a bunch of tweets explaining Hall wanting out. He might resign there but at the same time, kinda doubting it. I mean maybe he wants to play with young stars, but I believe he would want Lord Stanley even more. That is from my point of view but I believe he will have the same stance

Not when Hall is 33. Hall is 27 next year, the rebuild will take a decent while, 3 years to say the least. Hall wants playoffs right now because if he was to wait until hes 30 or 31, he wouldn't be worth as much as he could get right now and he just wasted his prime. If I were him, I would talk to the NJD staff for a trade and than tell them that I would be coming back to the team at a certain point. I don't think it is that hard..

I'd like to lock him in because he really looks like he's found his game. I feel like 6 years is a good compromise between 8 years and 3 years and the money is in the middle as well.
Puljujarvi is very low risk in this situation. If the Bruins had to give up something of value I'd look elsewhere, but if all they're asking for is a #4 RHD and a project forward I think it's worth the risk. The point in the trade was basically "these two assets are being moved..... what can i package them together for and who has a need for these types of players?" Edmonton looked like a potential fit to me if they move Larsson for a forward which I think they'd be smart to do.</div></div>
Look, if they are willing to move Puljujarvi for that low of a price, Id take him any day, but hes a top 4 pick, they have all the right in the world to ask for more. I guess the Carlo situation could be dealt many ways, but 4 by 6 is a bit too expensive on my liking but sure. I mean if we take him for 3, we can still play hardball on the last year with him to get a 6 year deal than but... ok

I would get away from Puljujarvi if I were you. You will have to pay much more to get him and he has already looked worse and worse. Idk about that minny trade but it doesn't look that bad. other than that Carlo deal. 3 by 3 would be perfect.

And comparing NJ to OTT is pretty foolish. NJ isn't nearly in as bad situation, they have a good GM, head coach and owner, while OTT is a complete dumpster fire that has literally everything wrong with it.
If Hall wants money, they can offer whatever he likes. The situation was not that in OTT.</div></div>
And thats the point. Hall doesn't want money, he wants playoffs

D-Fix - EK
Just looking at this makes me laugh. First, you will have to pay to get rid of Zaitsev's contract, or why would that take in that contract, and also give up a top 4 draft pick. You will have to pay like 2 first rounders or some A level prospects just to get him. Leafs don't have the assets, Brown isn't an A level prospect, hes like a B+ at best. Marleau isn't retiring for sure, so don't count on everything happening on a certain basis. I don't see Carolina making that trade. They will not part ways with Necas and 100% not a first rounder, for an overpayed Nylander? No way. Kapanen is good and all but no way they take that trade. Necas for Kapanen is a deal but Nylander for a hopeful team's first round and a solid top 4, nope. Also, getting EK isn't helping your defense, hes just helping with your offense. He is horrible at defense, worse than Gardiner, don't know why you want 2 OFD on the same pairing. That is a pairing I can see having a -30 at the end of the season. Marner is getting same as Matthews, or hes not resigning, his agent made that clear. And Puljuarvi isn't accept a 1 by 2, maybe a 3 by 2 or a 2 by 1. Horrible ACGM, at least one of the worst ones I have seen. Horrible analysis, and this isn't fixing your D, its making it worse.

Line 2 DeBrusk-Krejci-Johansson
Line 3 Heinen-Coyle-Kuhlman
Line 4 Kuraly-Acciari-Wagner
no way Backes is in the top 6, and I would be pissed if he was in the top 9 even, and definitely not over 7th award winner, Wagner. Nordstrom better be scratched.
Defense:
Pairing 1 is fine
Pairing 2 is fine
Pairing 3: Grzelcyk-Miller (clifton maybe), but yeah, Moore is a 7th D on Boston.
