I don't see Tatar and Pulkkinen getting you Fowler. What happened to Dekeyser? Does he just walk away? Did you leave Larkin in the minors? or make him magically disappear? I truthfully have no idea what you were attempting to do here. Your technically carrying too many players and you only have 2.5 decent defenseman on the team (assume Kronwall with age and body wont play the whole season). Steve Ott playing on the 3rd line and AA not playing? The Wings would have no use for Fontaine or Santorelli (shown by you having 5 lines and line 5 being better then lines 3 or 4). This is a fail.

The right idea to buy Bishop. That would for sure cure the Dallas goaltending issue. Well worth it.

Wings
I feel like you just wasted minutes of your life that you will never get back by completing this. Your contracts for both Mrazek and Dekeyser are not happening, especially Dekeyser signing 4 years at $2.6M. Your trade is so lopsided in favor of Detroit. If you understood how LTIR worked, you could have gotten way better CAP relief... just bad all around. What were you smoking when you created this?

The Wings would need to take this. They are thin at D and they have Tatar or Nyquist who both seem to be equally expendable at this time.

cap issues
Both of these trades don't take the other team into account. JVR would pull in much better offers than a backup goalie and a 3rd round pick. The Islanders have been looking at Greiss as their goalie going forward... they are not giving you their #1 goalie, a 2nd and 3rd round of 2017 for Hossa (a high CAP declining player). I get what your trying to do here, but your using trades that would never even be looked at in order to accomplish your goal.

Swinging with Tampa
Tampa is a good team to attempt to do a Shattenkirk deal with. They have a few young guys that they know they cant keep. Maybe take a shot at a Kucherov... Drouin isn't a bad grab either. He needs a change of scenery based on his history with Tampa and Yzerman might have less value in him based on history. Not a bad move overall.

2017 Stanley Cup Champs
I can see Dallas wanting Bishop, but retaining $2M for Niemi just isn't something they can afford to do... and you have plenty of CAP to take that hit. That's a tough trade for Dallas. Especially with Jamie Benn getting a significant bump starting next year.
Also, the "win now and worry about next year later" is a brutal attitude that would cost you your job. Think about this, you put all your eggs into one basket and your first place by far just a quarter into the season... then your goalie goes down with an injury that ends his season and you miss the playoffs... (Montreal). You put everything into one season to win, but anything can happen in that one season. Now you lost this season and you are going to lose 4 of your top 6 players because you don't have money. A GM will never make a decision based on what will happen today, its always what tomorrow will bring that is key.

Detroit doesn't have the CAP space for Fayne, nor would they give up a 3rd rounder for him. They would probably do what you did here and just sign Wisniewski.

Agreed.. your overpaying for the Carolina and Anaheim trade. The Colorado trade would be underpaying. So overall, none of these trades are even at all.

Just fun
Being that this is just for fun and not serious on what Holland would do... its not bad at all. On the good side, your dumping a few declining players causing problems in Detroit. On the bad side, I don't think Anaheim wants Zetterberg. Too costly for what they need. Same thing with WPG, you might get away with a Howard / Pavelec trade with pieces back and forth to finalize, but I don't think WPG would be looking to swap out Myers for Kronwall too. Wishful thinking though.

Moving Filppula and Garrison doesn't really do enough in that your still over the CAP the next year. Both would be a loss to TBL in that teams are not going to buy either of these two. Tampa would have to give up Filppula and a 4th rounder for say a 6th rounder to a team like Carolina. Bishop is a prime candidate to be traded by the Deadline this year. I think Drouin is another candidate to be traded. Does he still want to be in Tampa? I thought the goal for him last year was to show teams what he could do so that Yzerman would be able to trade him. There is $11M there. I think Palat is another guy that just isn't worth the cash. Lastly, I think Sustr is moveable and not necessarily a need in Tampa. So Bishop, Drouin, Palat & Sustr saving $18.5M.

When it comes to trading Tatar, I would always offer out Nyquist first. Nyquist is near $5M and Tatar can be resigned today for maybe $4M. You save money and can put Tatar on a 4-5 year deal at $4M.

Its time for Franzen to get the "Pronger/Savard" treatment. He is done and just a waste of CAP space. Bad contract by Holland

This is a pretty good joke. There is no long term build or ability to build long term with the contracts your giving. Brendan Smith's contract is just stupid. He isn't worth the $2M he is currently skating for.

CAP wise, its pretty close. $2.75 for Tatar and Smith each. That is the $5.5 that Trouba signs for. Mantha lowers the Wings CAP by another $800k... But to your point. id rather dump Nyquist and open up another $3M so Detroit has more room for Dekeyser and Mrazek. Nyquist and Tatar are very similar players and its hard to really keep both at this point in time.

That Parise contract was just stupid... Detroit doesn't want him, nor can they afford him with what your trading. Detroit doesn't even have enough to sign both Dekeyser and Mrazek right now. If you really think this is the right move, you would have to take Nyquist, Miller and a 3rd round pick or Tatar, Smith, Pulkkinen with a 2nd round pick.

Unsure How Arbitration will play out
When I see the forwards, someone might have to be traded. A Tatar or Nyquist. I think Jurco might start in the minors. Mantha is ready and that was proven with the end of the year and Detroit missing him in the playoffs. Probably carrying 7 Defenseman all year. Don't expect a lot from Kronwall with age and injuries, he will need some random rest stops.

Andersen doesn't have experience playing more than 55 games. TOR has already stated theyd like to have a quality vet to play with Andersen. Babcock was always a Howard supporter. With DET retaining that much its a gamble TOR can afford to take. They don't need the cap space this year an wont for the next few. Could work out for everyone. Theres no question Andersen is the starter in TOR, this just gives them some comfort with a familiar face.</i></div></div>
They traded Bernier to clear CAP space.. Still not sure why they want Howard. If Detroit is getting Shattenkirk, they are not getting a 3rd round pick as well. St Louis has time and Shattenkirk will be worth more at the trade deadline... similar to Ben Bishop. Value is higher when teams are more desperate. Might as well get the use out of him while they still can.

It's actually funny that you say that. First of all. Where have they made this "very clear". Don't know where you get your news from or if you watch anything but that has been made far from "very clear". It would be a nice pivot to getting the guy to the next level while sheltering his minutes. Similar to what they did with AA last year as I previously stated. Secondly. After posting this I read this article <a href="https://www.google.com/amp/www.wingingitinmotown.com/platform/amp/2016/7/13/12156886/predicting-red-wings-2016-2017-lineup-bottom-six-forwards?client=safari#" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">https://www.google.com/amp/www.wingingitinmotown.com/platform/amp/2016/7/13/12156886/predicting-red-wings-2016-2017-lineup-bottom-six-forwards?client=safari#</a> where the writer actually has a very similar outlook as I do. But no you're right man. "Very clear"</i></div></div>
Everyone gets their information from their own "rumor mill". Maybe he got the info from his mom while she was making dinner or maybe his dad is Kris Draper. I agree with you. I saw the same article and I think Mantha fits into the teams current needs, but he isn't playing any higher than a 3rd line role if that. Probably will use him on the PP as well. Team looks good, if only they had some funds for another defenseman. As you show it here, it scares me. Not enough depth and not too physical.
