Plays on an additional 15 feet of ice surface.
Totally not worth our time.
Keep him.
The #2 scorer of the KHL is 33 yr old NIGEL DAWES.
Nail Yakupov finally scored over 20 goals in a pro league.
ALL HYPE. Isles should stay out of this.

That's an insane amount for a guy who's 35 years old and isn't playing well. I'd only want him if they take Ladd's contract.

What are you talking about!
Pageau is the perfect player for the new NYI system. He's got speed and is by far the best defensive player on the Sens, he can also provide secondary scoring and always elevates his game in the playoffs.
I would hate to see him get traded.
That being said, I am also a big Vande Sompel fan. SO IDK how close the value is.

Ah, and for the Zaitsev add-ins for this deal. Every single Leaf trade on this site is usually a way for them to dump him because he’s that hated. Thanks, but no thanks on him. Lol</div></div>
Thanks for the evaluation!
My original idea was Nylander for Mayfield and the 2019 first on Draft Day. Does that appeal to you more?
By the way, like palhal, I'm one of those guys who's NOT dumping Zaitsev.

LMAO you have not watched any of the Isles games this season have you? Their young D core is stacked and the envy of the league right not and both goalies have been top goalies in the league and have been super consistent.

Agreed. Look at what players have fetched at the deadline historically. Just because you're a Sens fan (not you, just speaking generally) doesn't mean your two rental players are worth more than the market. A first and a prospect for each is MORE than fair value for these guys. 3 decent prospects with NHL experience and upside plus those picks is a pretty solid trade IMO. I remember expecting a ton for Vanek a few years ago only to acquire a middling prospect and a 2nd round pick.
To add to this, with a bunch of teams dropping out of the race in the East, there will be a bunch of sellers and the market maybe even lower than what I proposed. Time will tell.

Get Duchene now and make a run
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Y2J1399</b></div><div>You could not be more wrong about this team right now and have clearly not been watching them all season. Lehner has been projected to be this good for a while and has had GAA and SV% numbers close to this low before. The goalies are not playing above their heads, the TEAM is playing defense and two-way hockey. This was why Trotz was brought in. Tavares leaving obviously meant goal totals would go down. Trotz reaffirmed everyone's role and position and that has DRASTICALLY brought down the goals against for the team. While yes they could afford to score more, a team playing like this doesn't just all of a sudden start giving up 4 and 5 goals per game leading them to get smoked. Also, there are far fewer penalties called in the playoffs and the game is much more physical. The Islanders are one of the best 5v5 teams in the league and one of the most physical as well. I'm not saying they'll hold on to 1st place the whole time, but they are not going to be a pushover either.
Ranting aside, I wouldn't give Duchene 8x8 at all. I'd offer him 6 years/$7 mil per and if he finds better offer, which he obviously will, let him go where the money is. Up until this season he'd have been lucky to get $6 mil per. Half of a season where he is playing with ZERO pressure or care means nothing to me. I do agree with you about not giving up future prospects for him, picks I'm okay with.</div></div>
Isles are over achieving. That’s all I’m saying. Lenhar was projected to be “good” but he’s playing like a God right now. So is greiss. All I’m saying is this team is not close to a contender right now, and everyone should settle down with all these “isles buyer” armchair posts.
Hold onto your futures. This team is no different than MTL and bergavin publicly stated that the team isn’t mortgaging the future to win now. Isles should do the same. Stick with the game plan. They may make the playoffs as a 3rd or wildcard seed, but there’s no reason to be buyers

This team is playing out of its mind and is getting unrealistically good goaltending from Lenher and Greiss. Don’t deviate from the plan. The time to win is NOT now. Trading futures for duchene would be a waste

He rejected an 8x8 supposedly already from OTT. Might want as much as he can get. Might want to wait for FA.

None of those trades make sense..... LA isn't going to want Greiss, and you sign Filppula just to turn around and trade him to Edmonton for a 3rd rounder? Wahlstrom isn't a center..... where did Boychuk go? Gibson as backup?

Jordan Eberle is not worth that much. He's at most $6M, maybe less after this season. And Lee will likely get more term and dollars
