Beauvillier has struggled like most of the isles this season but to say he isn't good is just an absurd statement. His underlying numbers were just as good as fiala's the previous two seasons.

Habs TDL Offseason
Chiarot, kulak, Dvorak, petry values are all good or super close.
Lehky will get more like nils lundqvist
Hoffman could get 2 2nds or maybe 1 of their RD prospects along with a 3rd.
To dump koskinen it's a 3rd, and Allen is worth 2 2nds. So maybe add a goalie prospect like ilya konovalov.
Pretty good though!!

Forsberg Chychrun Lambert

I could see Forsberg taking a little cut to be reunited with Arvidsson and to play on a line with Kopitar.
How do you figure Lambert can't fall? He is ranked as low as 15 by many sources and with the cancellation of the WJC, it's not crazy to think he can go anywhere from 5-15.

your team looks great and Goodrow is a part of why. You have to use the EYE test and the underlying stats with him not focus on points and goals so much.
he does a lot of the ugly work to allow others the chances at points.

Goodrow and Danault, are proof stats aren’t everything!!! without Goodrow Tampa does not win back to back cups, and montreal never makes the cup final last year! there is a reason tampa paid a 1st for him. and why LA paid so much Danault. coaches love guys like him.

A Fair Prospect Hockey Trade
as an outsider to both teams I have to agree with the Montreal fans here. Caufield needs to work on his game a little bit he is FAR closer to the NHL and to top 6 play than Krav.
Montreal would be smart to be patient with him and work with him. same should be said for The Rangers and Krav.

This could also help them out. I'd rather see NYR try to give them both sheltered minutes before this happens, though. Laf started so well, tough to see right now. Wonder if Kakko is even 100% healthy

Fair enough. It's just that we've seen like 147 AGMs wishing the Buch trade away. And hey, I get it, it sucks. It was a bad deal he never should have made.

All the Cs
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>CD282</b></div><div>You need to look at the facts then. Over the past 2 years, Koskinen posted a .910 save percentage to Georgiev's .908. And Koskinen's mark was dragged down by the beginning of 20-21 when Smith was injured and Holland screwed up the backup situation repeatedly, and it meant that Koskinen had to play every game of a wicked schedule - 12 games in 24 nights traveling thousands of miles through 4 time zones - which isn't something ANY goalie can stand up under. It wasn't fair to Koskinen but Tippett had little choice but to keep throwing him over the boards, so his results were poor over that stretch. I don't fault Koskinen for that, he did his best in an impossible situation.
If you pull those 12 games out of the equation to get a look at how he performs under normal circumstances, his save percentage over the past two seasons is .916, well above Georgiev's .908.
And before you blame NYR's defense, know that Koskinen faced 32.60 shots/60 to Georgiev's 31.99 SA/60 in all situations, and 32.34 SA/60 vs Georgiev's 31.03 at 5v5. Its not quality of shots either, as Koskinen faced 8.50 HDSA/60 while Georgiev faced 7.46.
Edmonton is in Win Now mode, they aren't going to downgrade their goaltending this year. And to expect them to give up a high pick to make their team worse is crazy.</div></div>
Koskinen has the 10th WORST GSAA in the league and Gorgiev's is better by a very large margin.

Ekholm would have to be extended, but hes old and it blocks Jones unless he goes to nashville in this scenario
