Loose change.... Last I checked NYR ranked 1 &amp; 2 in any given prospect pool ranking. But offering 1-2 prospects (most likely picked in the top ten), one or two roster players and a first round pick is loose change. Right. Basically, what you're saying is... Laf, Kakko, Chytil, Lundkvist, Jones, Skinner, Schneider, Miller, Buchnevich, Zibanejad.. (really just getting started here) are not prime assets.

If that's the case; you and Jason Boterill must be really good friends.

No team is stupid enough to give up what your fan base wants for Eichel. For the record, I don't want em. NYR are way better off with the talent they have and the team they have developing them; than 5 years of Eichel at 10 million.

UGH i'm offended. In fact... you can't have Eichel unless you give me your big toe. Cut it right off. Also, I will need everything that we had previously talked about. And a hot chocolate. Possibly a cookie as well, we'll see. (i'm just gonna go into troll mode until I see something reasonable).

Buffalo fans are literally delusional. NO ONE is giving up their roster and their future for one guy. There is no making you happy. Your team has been in the basement every single year since you've drafted Eichel. Beniers might be a 2c in your eyes but with the player development in Buffalo he's probably a 3c. The entire organization is an absolute dumpster fire and so is the fan base to the point where there is not a single player in this league or born yet for that matter that will fulfill the prophecy that is Jack Eichel and take the Sabers to the promise land. You're gonna get 4 really great assets and you're going to like it. And if you don't like it, you're going to get nothing and Jack is going to ask for a trade. Then you get... nothing.

Is it just me or is every fanbase getting angry with Rangers fans because... we have the current talent, plus future talent, and the ability to make a trade with current/future talent to continue to stay relevant? Gorton and Davidson shall be referred to as zaddy from now on. Wait for Cam to pull a vet move and come to NYR in his later years like all good home town boys do ;)

I guess it was just a blanket statement to Buffalo fans. You just said it though... there's a breakdown in the FAN BASE.. regardless of what the package is, and that could potentially include zib plus three assets and a pick; the fans aren't going to be happy because they want to make a trade for someone (or multiple people) that are going to make them better now &amp; in the future. If they're scouting sucks, it doesn't matter. If their player development sucks, it doesn't matter. If their front office guys don't know what they're doing, it doesn't matter. What makes you think that buff will be better off developing Kravtsov if you can't even develop Eichel..? Because i'm taking Eichel 10 times out of 10 between those two.

I think a lotttttttttttttttttttt of buff fans are going to be extremely disappointed with whatever package they get, and the rest of the league will look at it like a treasure trove. There is no package that will satisfy Buffalo fans if their mindset is to trade Eichel and become an immediate contender with future assets. And on that note... there's no team stupid enough to give that up.
