They need more of that element in the top six, not just Brady. Tired of waiting for Drake to remember hes 6'3 205. He's also lowkey a wicked two way player.

Very fair. This deal also only works if Norris is permanently on LTIR or moved so even more unrealistic.

If a smaller piece is like a draft pick in the 3rd range I'd think Philly would consider.

That's a tough one because in the first half of the season Farabee had some of the best 5v5 stats in the league, but fell off in the 2nd half. I'm guessing in this scenario Chych comes with an extension?

Yikes. All that for one year of Konencky ? Please no silly extension talk. Seven years of Pesce is way too much.

I don’t think Pitt should be trading for Chychrun.
Maybe Norris tbh</div></div>
norris is the type of guy i would see dubas taking chances on during the next several years, like guys with down seasons or injuries and betting on talent and bounce backs... esp with everyone aging, it would be better to move geno down or to the wing anyway... what sort of package would a norris get with his injury history do you think?

9.5M for a guy never reached 70 points, he will go play in europe if he dont get reasonable

Would be very happy with this outcome
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>csick</b></div><div>If he
1) can make a quick pass under pressure

3) good possession numbers
4) doesn’t ice the puck or treat it like a grenade

From my amateur viewings/opinion, he meets your criteria and would be a great partner for Kleven who makes the team next year.

And probably a decent goalie</div></div>
I would do unspeakable things to add Mason Marchment to this team.

I'd move Kelly over, simply because you get next to nothing for him anyway. Valuable defensive player, pest, community guy.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>Cub19</b></div><div>Rantenen puts the sens over the top. Sens have all that talent and still bottom feeders</div></div>
WRONG, OTT problem is keeping the puck out of their net not putting in the net of their opponent, Rentanen does not help with that OTT needs a Zub clone and for Korpi and or forsberg to be able to stop a puck once a in a while...

I get he is a center, but Mercer drives more offense, nearly scoring 30 last year. He had a down year much connected to being forced to center this year with Hughes out.
I'm happy to keep Mercer, you guys keep Pinto.

Or you could bail out from under Chychrun but then you've got another hole to fill, and a big part of Chychruns value was his team friendly deal.</div></div>
if the Sens find themselves in desperate need of cap space, there are SO many other things they can do instead of trading Pinto

Can't keep paying non franchise players franchise player salaries.

like I said, he's a good player, but he's not worth that. That's franchise player pay. He's not that.
There are certain expectations of a franchise player, like being able to carry a team on your back... he can't do that.

I absolutely love Necas but Canes fans talk like hes a 21 year old that is on track to be a PPG. He what he is at this point and they aint getting the same quality player if they deal him but instead a reset with cap space and picks/prospects as a complement, you know, like every other time a team is squeezed.
That's how the salary cap system is supposed to keep parity.

UPL does look good along with Levi in Buffalo and now add Byram. Wow! That being said I knew they offense would dry up more. Tuch and Skinner both with career year would revert to normal. Which they did. Both are good top 6 forwards but better on second line. Either way, it seems like when one thing goes right, another goes wrong for both franchises. Add in the failures of Bills on football almost makes it worse for Buffalo fans.

I think to me you get the right HC who implements the right system and OTT is in the playoffs
Remember how Trotz transformed the Isles Defense system from like near last to top 3.
Cause if the system can improve and the goalies can get more support may see better results. Like when Talbot went to LA his numbers rose thanks to that system despite fans hating the 1-3-1 lul

Boqvuist could be had for a mid round pick. Columbus doesn't have the roster space or cap space for Hronek and his next deal since they already committed to Severson and have a ton of their own RFA's to re-sign (and a disgruntled top prospect at that position who needs a roster spot next season). Hronek might be a better fit for the Ducks, who desperately need a top-4 RHD and have the cap space.
