you could argue Malkin is actually the most productive point producing center in the NHL last 2 years....
Nylander p/60....2.538 (69th) seems like a solid top ten winger tho lol
guys better last 2 years
JVR RNH Gusev Boeser Kessel Radulov Konecny Perron Vrana Tatar Teräväinen,..... a lot more than i expected i quit lol</div></div>
Nylander's 18/19 year was a right off, he really impressed me last season. I would be open to any argument wanting to put Boeser, Teravainen or Konecny right up there with him.

Yes, I did. Very close race, I love Ovie and still think he can put up 50. Just felt Marchand has a little extra gear in him.

Gaudreau will be back, had a tough season and playoff. Terravainen and Boeser were last cuts for RW.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>A_K</b></div><div>This is pretty good IMO. Werenski, Connor, and Draisaitl are a few spots too high for me, but offensively they are some of the best players in the game so it becomes more about preference at a certain point. Most of the list looks like one I made yesterday, so that makes me feel a little less crazy haha.</div></div>
Thanks! I feel with for LHD it can be a very fluid list after Hedman, Josi because they're all so young and skilled. I think Connor is in a good spot. Agreed, Draisaitl is tough because he you can try to justify putting Malkin, Matthews ahead of him but he literally ran away with the scoring race last year with flying colours.

I had Ellis at #11 before I cut it down. Spurgeon is great but I would even put Paryako, Letang ahead of him. Who would you take out to throw Ellis, Spurgeon in?

Fair, I had Rielly at 11 before I cut my list. Had a tough time with Paryako, he's a great D but I couldn't bring myself to take off Karlsson or Weber instead of him.

I understand your pain. I think you gotta give a guy like that a "prove it" opportunity, put him with the best wingers on the team and see if he can keep up. I do not think he's an NHL 1C right now, or even know if he can crack the team over Norris.

Wow, agreed. Toews would have been a perfect fit. Maybe they look to scoop Dunn from STL. They have no cap space at the moment, even an offersheet is possible.

Who needs a LD
I could see a team like WPG adding a guy like Pettersson, they don't have a definitive 2nd pair LHD behind Morrisey.
Don't follow him closely but he impressed me the games I watched- big, mobile, good first pass, not very flashy. He's young, and I always thought his contract will be a steal in a couple years. Advanced stats look pretty good, is there something I'm missing that makes him only worth a 3rd?

Fair value, and works if you're confident Weegar can play top pair minutes on his off side.
For now, I can't see Debrusk getting moved out unless they have plans to bring in another top 6 forward since Marchy and Pasta are missing the start of the season.

If we trade up i heard the oilers are open to do it for picks</div></div>
True, I'm just thinking that you want to add a quality defender this season that gives flexibility in your long term plans because it's just a 1 year deal. Niskanen or Demers are other RHD I would target with 1 year left.

Marner for Boeser and Stecher
I like it, though some Leafs fans will say that's not enough. IMO trading Marner for a cheaper, but elite top 6 scorer and a top 4 RHD makes the most sense for the Leafs. He is an extremely special player, but just don't see any successful franchise having 3 forwards making 10.5M+. Get 2 quality roster players making under his his combined 10.5M and some other assets, done deal. Not sure if VAN would be the best spot considering they're carrying some really bad depth contracts and Petersson + Hughes due for big raises, but still like the idea. Would you do a similar deal with Anaheim for Rakell + Manson + ?
