Krejci is actually very close to coming back, Zboril wouldn't replace Forbort or Clifton until one of them gets injured, they were excellent in the playoffs. Also, good luck trying to find a trade partner with Foligno no one wants him. The only option is a buyout.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>puckhead6130</b></div><div>Pasta did start in the AHL his first year and had 28 points in 25 games if Lysell can do that then he deserves a spot. The AHL/ NHL is a much different game then WHL.</div></div>
Sure, but his accomplishments in the WHL were unparalleled. Never has an 8th seed beaten the number 1 seed in the history of the WHL and Lysell was a major part of that having 21 points in 12 games. I think bringing him into the lineup becomes even more likely if you lose Bergeron to retirement.

Bergeron Back and 2C
Kind of an awkward trade with the coyotes. You get appropriate value for Reilly then send Haula and a 7th for a 5th... Doesn't make much sense. I would also argue we slightly lost the smith trade, I think Smith is better than Tatar at this stage of his career but I get what you were trying to do. I think a better solution would be to bring in a younger player to fill that role.

I disagree, I'd say that's the perfect value for Trocheck. However, I do agree with your stance on the Foligno trade except for the fact that he wouldn't waive for Columbus I think he would.

Hard to imagine the B's do this because of the contract. But if his contract were cheaper I'd love to have him back in some sort of mitigated role. I just adjusted the trade tell me what you think.

<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>puckhead6130</b></div><div>Lysell and Beecher need a full year in the AHL. At some point the bruins are going to have to give Studnicka a spot to loose. Steen had a great year too he should also get a chance.</div></div>
Personally, I don't think it really matters. Beecher had a rough go in college then played excellent in his first few games with Prov I see him being the next 3rd line center when Coyle leaves, and sometimes it's a good thing to start players young look at Pasta for example. Lysell is extremely underrated, I don't think people realize how good of a player he truly is. I don't dislike steen but I see him as a third-line option people try to dump either him or Studnika on the fourth line and that isn't their game.

Maybe Ignore the Chychrun trade I made and I think this is very possible going into next season, I see the Mike Reilly trade as almost 100%. I also tweaked the salaries based on valid feedback.

Yeah, they definitely want more the but sad thing is that would be a decent return for him as he wasn't playing that well this past season. You get a top 4 replacement a first and some bottom-six players. You're also right probably not 3mil, I bet they'd both sign for 4 something and it would be very similar so Krecji doesn't get mad or something.

Best offseason
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>martm2k</b></div><div>Petry isn't going to Detroit.
They are in a rebuild and do not need him.
And, if for some crazy reason they'd want him, they aren't giving up Zadina for him.
Doubt Forsberg signs for 2 years with a rebuilding team.
Signing the injury prove Letang, who's 35, to a 5 year deal is asking for trouble.
Giving 15mil to Letang and Forsberg while going with a Holtby/Allen tandem in the net doesn't make much sense to me.
If you're in a rebuild, don't give huge contracts to older free agents.
If you sign free agents to be competitive, get a goaltender who isn't a question mark.
This is the worst of both options and is a receipe for disaster.</div></div>
I'm not sure how I signed Forsberg for 2 years it would obviously be longer. With the absence of Price, they have a lot more money to dish out and I figured with that they could end their rebuild with all of the young players they already have and at some point, you have to add some veteran players into the lineup. Also, not many other options in goal they could choose from that would probably go to Montreal. I agree giving lots of money to older free agents isn't exactly ideal but when you already have a solid foundation of younger players you might need a bit more of a veteran presence. Some players like Forsberg look for the bigger contracts and kind of ignore the team's given situation as long as the team isn't in the gutter. A great example of this is Hamilton who went to the devils. Letangs rumored asking price for a new contract is 7mil for 5 years so if they end up signing him that's what it would take. With the Zadina trade, I've heard Detroit has lost favor with him, and if that's the case I don't see him going for more than a third. Honestly, I think with these additions besides the question mark in goal, the Canadians could be very competitive.

I honestly beg to differ, people bring up the fact that Boston's prospects aren't as good as other teams, but those other teams don't want to give up their top prospects either. So if that was the package they might pull the trigger.

What are we going to do when Debrusk is traded? Smith has played well on the third line and Haula isn't exactly first-line material. Also, I see what you said earlier, and apparently, Cassidy and Debrusk don't have the best relationship, so that's one of the reasons Debrusk wants out.

Realistically you'd probably get Debrusk and a second or third. I think he'd play great with Zegras and Milano. I don't really see the Bruins acquiring Chychrun.
