New Jersey Devils fans- What do you think
This really rounds off the D, but I don't know how fair it really is. I think Boeser's value is much greater than what most people think and sadly I honestly think if VAN does decide to trade him, they will evidently lose the trade, whatever it is. Boeser's future is special, while you do get prospect and picks, it's hard to say that for a team contending for the cup that picks are more important than role players.

If I was you I would be fine with Florida. They aren't in your conference and they need a player like him to bring fan attendance

I'm very curious to see how Ferland's situation plays out. He tried coming back twice this season and suffered setbacks almost immediately. Best case scenario would obviously be that he's fully recovered and plays an effective grinder/pest role on a line with other skilled players like he's done in the past. But I think it's just as likely he ends up on LTIR based on the length of his recovery process and setbacks so far.

You could not possibly be more wrong. Torts rather likes Bjorkstrand. Not as much as he loves Atkinson, but still.

This is a lot nicer than what I was tempted to say. Sure, Pelletier is a shiny prospect, but Bjorkstrand is our best forward.

2020-21
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>hoshii96</b></div><div>I've heard that Canadiens fans don't really want, or need Benn back. Probably retaining half his salary and moving him for a 6th at the deadline is a smart choice, as many teams would be in need of a 7th d-man in case of injuries. The same goes for Baer, but I don't want him to sit in the minors for half the season. I say we try to move Roussel if Ferland is cleared for next year, or Beagle, but he can actually take faceoffs well.</div></div>
All depends on MTL offseason, if we have capspace, we could have Kulak and Benn sitting in the press box, if Romanov isn’t totally ready or Juulsen isn’t back 100% healthy, Benn might have a chance to play on the 3rd pairing and he did ok when he was with us

Great for Wings too. Take on a cap space for a future starter. Great move for both sides.

Bjorkstrand really took a big step this year, but I still think he has yet to prove himself as the clear-cut best player. Jones is still quite far ahead, but Bjork's got some potential.</div></div>
I agree about Ekholm, Hedman was certainly up there in my top 4-5, I strongly disagree about Jones, he is vastly overrated, I would take PLD at least over him, quite easily (and Bjorkstrand) and possibly Werenski or Savard

Yeah I agree Lindholm is better I just thought picking up a young stud LHD like him would be an offer Anaheim can’t refuse. If we can’t re-sign him or talks go south we’ll get crap for him next year as an expiring contract and I’d rather just sell high now

Lundell is the Best Defensive Player of the Draft - Prove Me Wrong
<div class="quote"><div class="quote_t">Quoting: <b>SlickWilly</b></div><div>He already does have a pretty strong shot that is called "elite" by some, and he's described by some scouting reports as a powerful skater as well. I wouldn't take him in the top 5, but after that I think he's fair game</div></div>
After multiple viewings of Lundell I don't think he is a powerful skater. His top speed is fine but his stride is so inefficient, takes him a while to get to top speed and his edges are very poor. With some work he could be better but right now I have his skating at average or even below average. His shot is good, somewhat underrated IMO but not elite. The hockey sense is the selling point for Lundell (its incredible in his own zone) but outside of that and his shot I think he's a very average prospect.. I wouldn't be surprised to see him taken in the top 10 but personally I wouldn't. Just my opinion on him

No, that's just how the offer sheet function works. It takes the AAV offered (in this case 11.25M), multiplies it by the term (in this case 7 years) and divides it by the term of the deal up to a maximum of 5. In other terms, the full amount of money offered to the player and divides it by the term or 5 if the term is greater than 5. This is how all offer sheet compensation is determined, but it's broken on this site and didn't give the picks it should have (four 1sts)
