Nah Z was our best Dman this past season and led all Dmen in goals. Domi would be good but we have a huge hole on our left side without Z and Domi is not worth creating that hole when we have guys like foudy and tex waiting. Ikonen and a protected first are not enough to downgrade from Z to Domi. Romanov would be necessary, but i would not fault Habs fans for refusing to pay this

This is a no from both sides. Columbus has no want or need to trade Werenski unless it’s a massive overpayment and Montreal has no need to make this a massive overpayment as they aren’t desperate for a LHD anymore.
