Description
How far are the values off?

I think Buffalo is quite deep on the right side with Montour, Risto and Miller, and I think the team is moving up, so the 1st round pick in a couple of years should be around 15 or so. Could also include a top 10 protection.

With the Sabers pick, the Leafs could either draft Holtz (best player available), Sanderson (best D available) or Lundell (best centre availabe and they could trade Kerfoot within one year)

A bit of cap flexability would not hurt and I think the D corps would be very good in 2-3 years

The only way the Sabres would possibly trade Joki + 2 firsts would be for a top center. Not for a winger on a crap contract.

In terms of actual value, the Rakell trade (with Abruzzese signing guaranteed) would be close, but there's not much point in it. Dermott *can* play the right side, if needed, but the Ducks need to get someone who can do it longterm.

I know a ton of people have been back and forth on things like a Manson trade as well, and the consensus in the end is that the Ducks and Leafs just aren't good trade partners at this time, because the Leafs don't have the players (other than Liljegren) that the Ducks need, and the Leafs shouldn't trade him.

Sharks decline

The Sharks would consider declining even if the picks were swapped. They really can't afford a cap dump like AJ.

Another crazy Marner trade that Dubas would actually want you fired.
