Description
I gave Schwartz the Schenn contract. My best guess on the rest of the guys we'd keep.

Sending down 1 of the 2 healthy scratches clears the cap space and then they'd be good.

It's never this simple, right? haha. But it could be an option moving forward. Tarasenko a huge wild card.

wonder if Seattle takes a run at Faulk. Since there probably wont be a ton of good options for them at RD. If im Seattle, Faulk would be more intriguing than guys like Subban, Montour, Johns etc

Although the other 3 would be much safer, since they don’t have ridiculous term.

I kinda doubt Seattle takes him with their analytics minded front office and Faulk's less-than-great underlying numbers

I'd trade Barbashev when his current contract is up. Probably let Binnington walk too. Invest that money in a better third line center (drop Sundqvist to 4C) and cheaper goaltender, depending on how Husso performs.

Then I think we simply keep Faulk. That'd be the only change really. Maybe a depth FA signing at that point to flesh out the 3rd pairing. Because at that point Faulk would be a top 6 whether the Blues like it or not. If he continues to not play well then I don't know what the Blues do at that point.
