"Most Bodacious Trade". No, I was going to say lousy trade for the Hawks. Why doesn't Crawford sign with the Hawks for the same money as you signed him for and then the Hawks keep the valuable Murphy.

I'd throw Johnsson or Kerfoot into that Chicago trade and then use that money and the Crawford allotment to sign Jacob Markstrom. But that, as a very highly respected colleague said today, would be in a perfect world.

Why don’t the Hawks just sign Crawford and keep Murphy instead of giving a top 4 guy to Toronto for one year of Andersen?
