Description
With the Leafs two 1st rounders this draft, I would think, and hope, that they pick (1) Braden Schneider at #18 and Ridley Greig (or Henrix Lapierre) at #20. With the #44 pick, I am hoping that Justin Barron (and his latest medical issues) drop him for the Leafs to draft him in that slot and then let their medical team do their work. Beyond that it's a bit of a crap-shoot, though I think the steal of the later rounds of the draft might be winger James Hardie (Mississauga-OHL), who is projected to go between rounds 5 and 6 and defender Dylan Robinson (Windsor-OHL), who is also projected to go late in the draft. Keep in mind that my knowledge of draft prospects is mostly CHL.

With respect to Travis Hamonic, I firmly believe he is the defender with the skill set best suited to play beside Morgan Reilly from those available as a UFA (and I am including Pietrangelo here), when you consider the dollar amounts versus what you are getting.

Anyway, let me know your thoughts and comments. Be well and stay safe.

Devils laugh. We have no use for Johnnson and need the picks to plug multiple holes.

Picks don't plug holes unless you trade them like what happened here
