The Ottawa trade would probably be accepted by Ottawa, with Brown being traded out of the division, and a solid return. I don’t know much about Johansson, but seems okay on paper.

That definitely gets you Eichel, but is that worth it?

Definitely something to think about and I'm not sure. It gets you a sure thing and top 10 center with term but it does cause a lot of change as a result.
A
And from Minnesota's perspective it's Rossi, Dumba, Beckman, Rask & a couple later 1sts given up. Which is a lot. But it's a massive upgrade and more of sure thing than any other option available in the organization.

Really depends on what kind of approach you prefer

Throw Rask into the Eichel deal as a cap dump is addition to Ghost, remove a 1st. I think that's probably closer for both sides.

Philly probably says no on the Dumba deal.

Thing is, Rask only needs to be included if they need the cap. But lord, 3 first round picks and 3 first round prospects (I know Beckman was 3rd rounder but is development says otherwise)? I would pass in a heart beat.
