LA doesnt need to give up Byfield, they have plenty of quality assets. 1 of the few teams with that luxury

The point is if Kevyn Adams wants to keep his job he needs to stick to his guns and say “this is the guy I want. If you won’t talk about it the conversation is over.” No more settling for second or third best option. If they weren’t so focused on moving O’Reilly before paying his bonus they wouldn’t have gotten fleeced so badly. When you’re trading a top 10 center in the game you don’t accept the second or third best option.
