So you eat $1,350,000 and you think you're getting a top 9 pick? Got news for you that's basically a 3rd round pick not 1st round pick. Even for one year of Loui Eriksson Benning isn't surrendering a 1st for him. He either buries him or buys him out.

Not a bad idea but the problem is CBJ would have to get that Vancouver 1st in any Jones trade, and NJD would get a much lesser asset
