Apart for Branstrom-Guhle, these trades make no sense for Mtl

Pinto is way more valuable than that package imo. Poehling really hasn't impressed me at all as an NHL player, Mysak is a decent prospect, but not close to Pinto, and Ottawa doesn't really need another goalie prospect at all.

Brannstrom is older, but I really don't think Kaiden Guhle is anything special at all. I think Brannstrom will put it all together and be a really strong 2nd pair OFD.

idk where White and Drouin sit In terms of trade Value, but Drouin is really not the kind of player Ottawa needs by any stretch. He's not a finisher and he's really bad defensively. I think Ottawa should just run it back with White. Drouin might be the better player, especially if he bounces back, but I think he's a much worse fit for what the Senators want to be.

The exchange of Dman with the first trade seems fair.
White for Drouin might be fair as an exchange of two guys trying to find their game .
But Sens think Pinto can be a 2C, and those Montreal players, don't have nearly as high a ceiling as Pinto.

As a habs fan I hate all 3 of these deals

Brannstrom nothing is going to change the fact he is 5'9. Hes not Ryan Ellis who plays bigger than his listing and at 22 hasnt demonstrated anything beyond being a PP dman.

Pinto doesnt move the needle. Theres no guarantee hes a material improvement on Poehling and to give up both Mysak and Primeau to make that happen doesnt make sense.

Why would they want white period. below .5 ppg last 2 seasons terrible defensively and bad in the faceoff dot while being signed to a contract he isnt worth for 4 more years. Drouin atleast is over a .5 ppg every year.
