Description

Horvat, Miller, and Boeser are all due for raises. Signing them all doesn't leave much cap free and leaves the Canucks stuck with pretty ****ty options on RD.

One of them will have to go, the question is which one?

Miller is the best player, but the oldest.

Horvat probably garners the biggest return but is the captain

Boeser probably has the most potential.

Imo unless we're tearing it down, Miller should be kept. That leaves Bo and Brock. Depending how the seasons play out, Brock might make the most sense to move because of his QO. With Garland and Podkolzin he also becomes "expendable".

So, I propose 2 trades, one for Brock and one for Bo with the intention of getting some futures, and improving on RD.
