Hate to break it to you canes fans but KK is just going to take his 6.1 million QO. There is 0 reason for him to take that deal (it would actually be pretty stupid of him to do so). That deal would pay him 10.5 over 3 years and barring him being forced to retire in the next season he could EASILY make the way more than remaining 4.4 million over years 2 and 3 even if he doesn't get qualified.

The fanbase said when the offersheet was signed there was a handshake deal for a long term extension. Well...........we are now 2 months past the date when we can announce something so that clearly wasnt true.
