Description
Hagel can apparently get a 1st and a top prospect. Hartman is in the class too. If you’re concerned about cost certainty, give Sturm the Hartman extension.

For the record, I’ve never believed this team was a real title contender but perhaps the clarity of this past run shows more realistic outcomes and puts deals like this on the table.

Doesn’t need to be Bryam but a young blue chip return should absolutely be on the table.

It’s the idea, not the trade. I realize Byram nigh untouchable.

the hagel thing is confusing to me because objectively i don’t see him being worth a first and a blue chip prospect, but i also respect that chicago wants to keep him and will only move him for a huge overpay. that said, i feel like that shouldn’t be a marker of anyone else’s value. i’m iffy about byram with his concussion issues but this just doesn’t make any sense for the avalanche.

no team is going to be going up a blue chip prospect for Hartman.

The ask by Chicago is a 1st and prospect, that doesnt mean that his value. teams can ask for whatever they want, doest mean teams will actually pay it
