Trades
1.
TOR
  1. DeBrincat, Alex ($1,750,000 retained)
CHI
  1. Abruzzese, Nick
  2. Kerfoot, Alexander
  3. Kokkonen, Mikko
  4. Mrázek, Petr
  5. Tverberg, Ryan [Reserve List]
  6. 2022 1st round pick (TOR)
  7. 2023 1st round pick (TOR)
Additional Details:
Kerfoot traded at deadline with retained salary for a 1st. 3 1sts then + Abruzzese (very good offensive ceiling) + 2 B level prospects in Tverberg, who lot it up in the NCAA, and Kokkonen, a guy who looks like a future solid 3rd pair d man, maybe 2nd pair if all goes right. Honestly would be willing to add more; this is just the main frame. Mrazek dumped as Chicago goes for full rebuild, gives them a goalie who can be flipped for value if he returns to his past level of play, which I think he easily can in a new system
2.
TOR
  1. Puljujärvi, Jesse [RFA Rights]
EDM
  1. Hirvonen, Roni
  2. Kase, Ondrej [RFA Rights]
Additional Details:
Hirvonen is a hard working guy who projects as a future 3rd liner. Kase is a solid scorer who should make only about 2 mil on his next contract and when healthy fits in as a good top 9er in Edmonton, can move up and down the lineup. As a sweetener, Campbell’s UFA rights go to Edmonton as they get themselves a legit starter
3.
TOR
  1. 2023 3rd round pick (COL)
  2. 2024 4th round pick (COL)
Additional Details:
Any contending team looking for a #2/3 RHD
COL
  1. Holl, Justin
Additional Details:
#4 d man who plays PK and 20 mins a night. Only at 2 mil. Based on what guys like Kulak, Braun etc have gotten, I have it estimated somewhere between a 2nd and a 3rd, so I went a 3rd and 4th from a contending team (which is equal to roughly an early 3rd rounder). I could honestly seeing it being more than this but the return doesn’t matter so I went conservative with the return
4.

    5.
    TOR
    CHI
    1. Knies, Matthew [Reserve List]
    Additional Details:
Debrincat trade. With Knies added, that should definitely get it done. 3 1sts (1 from Kerfoot with salary retained in other trade), A level prospect in Knies, very solid NHL ready prospect in Abbruzzese, and more. Might be an overpay but this is the frame of the deal

Puljujarvi trade value wise is not bad, but selfishly as an Oilers fan and a fan of Puljujarvi the LAST place I would want him to get traded to is Toronto.

Taking the part that they're my least favourite team out of the equation, the media is what I'm worried about and how Jesse would handle it. During the 2nd half of this season his finishing was nuked and had a poor offensive 2nd half of the season. EDM media members like Matheson & Spector have been trying so hard to drive him out of town. Knowing Toronto and their media, if Puljujarvi goes on another slump he is going to be absolutely torn apart. If he must get traded, small market team. So he can thrive without media pressure. You're going from bad to worse moving from EDM to TOR.

Not a chance this proposal gets Cat. Maybe Kane for the year at 50% retained but I doubt he would go there.

Far too much quantity over quality.
