    Calgary will have signed two players this offseason who wont live up to their contract. Both are on the backside of the hill!

    Huberdeau wont put up 115 points ever again not even close.

    Kadri wont put up 87 points ever again.

    I don’t see a wagon, I see a top 7-10 team in the league with some holes - similar strengths and challenges they had last year. Depth scoring from bottom 6 is gonna be a challenge in the playoffs.

    I'd have to see a workout and skate report on Monahan post surgery before I take him with a second. We've been talking Lucic with a second for weeks, but Lucic is only owed 750k in real money AND is still a somewhat useful player. If we have to bury Monahan in the minors this years its going to take more than a second to pay his way.

    With the condition mentioned by my friend @GiggywithGibby, I'd take that deal for Monahan and simultaneously admire the fancy footwork of overcoming the loss of Gaudreau and Tkachuk by acquiring Huberdeau, Kadri and Weegar.
