That's a pass. Bourgault is someone I value for sustaining team success over the longer term and Anderson isn't someone that moves the needle enough for me to sacrifice that future.

Well, given how difficult it is to win a Cup even when a team has far and away the best roster, your dichotomy is built on a faulty assumption. Further, since you seem to be of the mind that his contract isn't a concern, just keep him. Veteran leaders that are good players are very valuable to rebuilding squads, after all.
