Description

Tolvanen and puljujarvi are struggling offensively and could use a change of scenery. Nashville hopes puljujarvi turns it around but if he doesnt they forgo the qualifying offer and free up capspace for next season.

McDonagh gives Edmonton a steady defensive lhd at the same price as barrie after retention.
Barrie restores the ld/rd balance to Nashville and would pair well with ekholm or lauzon.

McCarron just adds some depth and grit to the Edmonton roster.

oilers dont need McDonagh, especially if were giving up a RD like barrie, if were trading him we need an RD in return

McDonagh's contract is too long. Puljujarvi for Tolvanen straight up would be of interest to me, at least.

Hmm interesting. I kinda like the sound of McDonagh in Edmonton, but I wonder if he'd waive for there.

Nice to see something quite different for a change. I think Preds takes a small L here value-wise, but given they wouldn't have to deal with McDonagh's longer contract, this could turn out favorably for them.
