Don't think it matters. Holl will be getting a fairly sizable raise next season and Toronto is probably out of that market. Timmins is the RHD replacement who they already have and is relatively low cost. He's a long term project.

im happy for Timmins, hes finally getting to showcase how good he is and what avs fans were saying about him for years but 13 games does not just set a guys value, it doesnt work like that nor has it ever worked like that.

You would get more interest in him, but no team is trading a 1st for Timmins. His biggest knock has been able to stay healthy, and 13 games doesnt change that reservation that teams would have about him

I couldn't agree more with your Holl take. He has quietly done everything the coaching staff has asked him to do obviously with different levels of success. However his value to the leafs is going to have to be replaced with one or two cheaper options in the Offseason. It also wouldnt surprise me if Dubas looks to upgrade Holls roll position with the team at the deadline. With that be said it would be very difficult to do and likely expensive.

He's also playing 16 mins a night. A nice story but we're talking a 3rd being fair value.
