Is Murphy even better than Peeke? I would rather trade boqvist for a late first and keep Peeke who is younger and cheaper and has more potential

I'm all for moving Boqvist in the right deal, but I don't think that move happens until the draft rolls around. Murphy isn't a good add IMO. We have Peeke and Gudbranson doing what he can do already, so I don't see the advantage of shipping Peeke out to bring in an older, more expensive version.

I would love for the Jackets to add Chychrun, but I don't think they're going to make any big adds at the deadline that could hinder their chances at 1OA, and it's looking like a contender like LAK or EDM is going to scoop him up before we would be able to take a shot this summer. If the season hadn't gone off the rails so early, I think Jarmo would've went out and got him.



You're setting yourself up for disappointment. There's a decent chance Dubas goes after him. Maybe it's only for a 1st and a 4th though.
