Description

It seems that the Bruins will not trade for Jacob Chychrun at the deadline. Instead they will go after Vladislav Gavrikov. The Bruins were offered Jacob Chychrun for Jake DeBrusk or Jeremy Swayman. A 2023 1st round pick, a 2024 2nd round pick and Fabian Lysell. Not surprised that the Bruins declined. I expect Gavrikov to go for a 3rd and a 4th-5th. The Bruins need to clear up cap so they trade away Craig Smith and their only 3rd round pick in 2024. Who do you think wins this trade?

Beating a dead horse here, but yeah, you're missing at least a 1st going to CBJ in that Vlad trade.

Portzline is reporting a trade has already been finalized for Gavvy, apparently just waiting for a secondary move or something. Not sure if it's BOS, but yeah, I have heard they are the favorites.
