I like Heinola. He’s not getting that return, nor are the Devils interested in taking a flier on him.

I think Dubois is gone this offseason to whoever gives the best offer.

The offseason priority is going to be Hellebuyck and if he doesn't think the Jets will be competitive then it will be difficult to extend him. Money shouldn't be an issue as the Jets have money (cash and cap) and Hellebuyck is going to be paid on his next deal. Hellebuyck has seen the Jets have a 2nd half fall in 2018-19; mediocre 19-20 and 20-21 seasons; a terrible 21-22 and now another 2nd half tumble. How much faith does he have in hockey operations to get things right during the duration of what likely will be his last big contract.

No I’d say Wheeler still has value, no close to what he used to be but still there should be teams to pay for him

And really though do you really think the jets will collapse badly enough to miss the playoffs considering who they’re fighting with: Calgary and Nashville?
