Aquiring a first for 2023 draft

Sorry but none of those pieces get you a top 13 pick in a very deep draft.

I dont think you would get first round pick

Buffalo has a pretty good top-9 set of forwards. Their primary areas to improve are at RhD and in goal (just in case Devon Levi needs help). The Sabres don't need an expensive #3C or a Clayton-Keller-sized winger prospect. Their 13th overall pick is much more valuable to them than that package.

If you look at where the Sabres are, their biggest needs are- a defensive physical right shot d to pair with power, a vet goalie to split time with Levi, another physical defensive d to Plat on the third pair, a two way center to help on the pk and win a face off once in a while, and possibly some size and grit for the 4th line. Pretty sure the only one of those needs that would get pick 13 would be the physical d to play with power. So with what's offered here, I would say hard no.

Pageau might be interesting, but not for pick 13.
