Description
Leafs run it back with 1 last cup run before Matthews and Nylander are UFA's and need new contracts.

Rationale:
- Dubas loves trading back out of the 1st. It costs him a late 1st, but he picks up some draft capital this year and next to dump Murray's last year on his contract.
- Pacioretty is going to look for 1 more payday. He won't get it after back-to-back achilles injuries. He sign's a cheap 1 year contract with the Leafs to rack up points.
- Connor Brown in a similar situation to Pacioretty after being injured all season, signs a cheaper deal.
- O'Reilly has loved Toronto. He signs a team friendly deal that isn't league minimum, but does help the Leafs.
- A few role players who were traded for stick around for next year on fairly cheap deals.

Also Keefe is likely fired as Dubas needs to change something. I could see Gallant or Bruce Boudreau being the new coach.

Would as a Chicago fan, although my preference would be a single pick (NYR or TBL 2nd) for the upgrade.

U pose a good question and considering this is a deep draft in the 1st rd I think they consider it IF it's the TBL pick

Since chicago has so many 2nds I’m fine with it bring the TBL pick, but I wouldn’t go higher.

Yeah IK even if I was a Blackhawk fan I would go higher then the NYR pick (since they're in the vicinity of the draft position)

I like this move. $8m salary is expensive to move. CHI accepts the 1st + Murray in exchange for the 3rd and 4th.

Just dont think there will be too many TOR fans who agree.
