Agreed - although I could see Buffalo being interested because of his size, age, contract and physical style of play, he's a 4-6 defenseman on a good team and not going to get a 1st or even high 2nd round pick.

If Kekalainen wants a depth LHD like Bryson along with the 39th OA pick for Peeke, maybe there's a deal.....but it still might be a reach for Buffalo to think Peeke is an upgrade over Jokiharju in the top 4.

I'm ok with 39oa plus. With the plus being one of our Russian forward prospects, rousek, or weissbach. Or maybe pick 45 and jokiharju. I think this is something that we need badly, and I'm willing to pay the right shot d premium to get it. I'm not willing to offer anything like 13oa, regardless of however many seconds come with him. Bryson is awful, and undersized and left handed, it's not worth even mentioning him here.
