Hawks say thanks but no thanks. They're keeping those LD spots open for a reason. If Winnipeg wants to pay a 3rd to get rid of Dillon the hawks might consider it.

This is going to sound really crazy, I know, I hear it, but I personally think Lowry holds more value on this team than Nylander does. Lowry would be my pick to be the next captain of this team and I feel like he is a good person to have running that room.

I would not make this trade. Plus Nylander's dad is a greedy ****. No chance he re-signs here.

Extreme overpay for one year of Nylander. Obviously the Jets don't consider that.

I see Winnepeg and Vilardi wanting a bridge contract, he wants to prove himself and the Jets need to make sure his injuries are behind him. 2x$4.25-4.5M seems fair for both sides and I believe he's still an RFA after that.

If the Jets are just giving Dillon away for free, some team would probably take him. But it won't be the Hawks.
