    laugh laugh Yzerman isn't stupid, We're not eating $6,000,000 for 4 seasons for Petry and garbage picks. If Yzerman was willing to waste a rentention spot for 4 years on Karlsson. The cost would be 5 times that offer. Petry holds no value to us and those picks are even worse and hold no value to us.

    Detroit is only doing $6,000,000 retained, But the point is still taken. That we wouldn't do that deal for so little.
