I could be wrong but I think Lavoie is going to do well and earn a top 6 spot he has the size to play in the big leagues as well as a good shot putting him beside an elite passer like draisaitl would make a solid line that can hit hard and not get pushed around

Burns most likely won't be around in a couple years,
If they move skjei they don't weaken their right side

**trades wouldn't happen till around tdl allowing cap space to acumulate to make it compliant
Would also depend on skjei extending or not**

It's a touch light for Skjei because the picks are 2 drafts away. You're probably looking at a 1st and a 3rd if they're THAT far away

That's why I put in bourgault due to him most likely being ready to play nhl minutes around that time

The issue is if he isn't NHL ready. Carolina don't have an AHL affiliate to send him to after the Wolves said they want to be independent this season. It needs more incentive for the Canes

I would like more for Skjei, especially with the campaign he just had, but I think the Canes would take that, especially if they are able to bring in another top 6/9 forward or 2 with the extra cap space.
