Hawks easily decline. There's nothing in that package from Vancouver that the Hawks would want in a deal involving Murphy.

I'm going to disagree. Myers is 3 years older than Murphy, a pending UFA, and his on-ice performance the past two seasons has definitely declined. His value in this deal is nothing to slightly negative from Hawks perspective. A definite downgrade from Murphy. Podz is still a decent enough prospect, but he's more of a crap shoot than anything else at this point. Couldn't stick in the NHL last season. Seemingly not an every game guy in Canucks plans for this season. Podz and a 3rd isn't getting a top 4 RD with 3 years of term at a reasonable cap hit. At least not from the Hawks.
