Description

With Laffy looking ready, and Kaliyev still in the mix, I can see the Kings using their $$ to resign Roy and letting Arvy walk. This opens up $$ for a goalie upgrade. With the thought that Portillo is still 2-3 years away from starting, and the Kings ready to compete now, who would you want them to add??

It could be at the TDL this season or the next off season. I did my best with the trade comps, don’t kill me for them.

I can tell you Nashville and Vancouver aren't going to consider. It would need to be a massive overpayment to get either of those guys. They don't have a replacement goalie. Vancouver definitely wouldn't want to trade Demko to a team they are going to be competing with for the playoffs. Maybe Nashville, in a couple years when Askarov proves himself, will they move Saros. I also doubt Washington, who wants to win now, will trade their starting goaltender. Ullmark might be the only and best options, especially if Swayman claims the starting job.
