Vermette, Miller (50% retained), Fiore and Montreal 4th in 2018 for Kevin Roy, Schlemko, Prince, a 3rd in 2018 and a 5th in 2019?
I tried to keep the cap balanced, as well as the number of contracts. I'm also giving you an extra pick, while upgrading you to a 3rd, and returning two young players to make up for Fiore and Vermette, who's just a rental.

If you're able to hold off until Feb we can look at this then as I have no more Jan trades to use
Hello. It depends if we're talking players or picks as the return.
If I was just to throw out random ideas for consideration I'd start at 2018 2nd ++
Cogs is a skilled 2 way forward, can play all 3 forward positions, is good for pretty much 30 pts every year and short of being suspended the guy simply never misses a game.
That's why I place a rather high value on him, not only to my team but to any other team he might be moved to.

If my head gm is ok with it what do you think of Jori Lehtera and a 2018 3rd?

I would emphatically say no. Sure they are the same age, but Cogliano costs me $1.5m less and has basically 7 times the amount of points this year as the guy you're offering.
Logic say I stick with what I got.
i figured just thats always the default deal i ask so i can see what the other gm is really looking for. I'll talk to nate cause I would like to try and get cogliano
It has come to the BOE’s attention that in the Deal you made with New Jersey for Michael Matheson there is an error. Anaheim did not own Max Jones, as he was dealt away by a previous GM. Arizona is the rightful owner of Max Jones, thus you did not own his contract or rights. In recognition of this, it is between New Jersey and Anaheim to find a compromise solution to this issue. If no agreement can be made on how to fix this, you may bring this case to the BOE for guidance or a ruling. Until that point is reached, the matter will only be between @TML_Milo and @flamesfan419 . If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the “Messages to the BOE thread”.
Please get in touch with me as this is something you and I need to work out together.
My choice regarding this is to just cancel the entire trade and each team gets back the pieces that were included.
Thank you

Thanks,

In addition, it has been brought to the attention of the BOE that New Jersey did not own the 2018 ANA 2nd round pick. This pick was supposed to be part of the trade revisions proposed on January 18, however, those were quickly nullified. The 2018 ANA 2nd belongs to the Florida Panthers and so does Evgeni Svechnikov. It is still the responsibility of only @flamesfan419 and @TML_Milo to find a solution. The BOE will not step in unless it is deemed absolutely necessary.
I do not agree with this at all. That would mean I traded away BOTH OEL & Josh Mahura for a Matheson & 2019 1st rd pick. That alone is almost fair value for Mahura.
So I officially disagree with this resolution at this time.

I took out the value of Max Jones, which is probably a 2nd+5th for a former first round pick.
That I will agree with, but I will counter by saying I feel OEL & Mahura would have a higher value than what is left in the original deal.
I understand where you are coming on; however, we are supposed to remedy the difference. If Jones is not includes I will withdrawl the 2nd and the 5th. As fair value.

I appreciate that Milo, however for the pieces that would be left I don't see the trade being "fair" value.
I would argue that OEL on his own would be worth Matheson and the 1st rd pick and then some, especially now since you are trying to sell off OEL at half price. that tells me you don't see any value in him at this point to which I would disagree.
Which leaves Mahura as being regarded by me as a bonus piece that NJD received.
So I'm sorry but I still don't see the benefit for my team. I do see it from your side that you feel OEL hold little to no value considering you are now offering him at half price, but I see him still having a higher value than that. And it's OK for us to see his value differently. We both screwed up the original deal by including things we didn't have, so cancelling it and punishing both teams seems the fairest way to resolve this.
It's not MY fault, it's not YOUR fault. It's OUR fault is all I'm saying

The BOE and BOG group have asked us to take out Jones and the fair value counterpart. Which I did.

My feeling is I think it might just be the best thing to cancel the deal at this point.
I agree that you have offered to remove what you see as value for one of the pieces, but that leaves us at a point where we disagree on the remaining value.
Please take that into account and consider agreeing to have the entire deal removed.
