letang is not even close to karlsson. pens add at least a first rd pick, sprong and other picks. if ottawa trades kalrsson, it would be for futures. letang isn;t a future

That's funny. Letang has been trash, not even top 30 in the league for Ds. He DOESN'T COME TO CLOSE TO KARLSSON.

But let's not throw away the baby with the bathwater. Hunwick and Sheary for Hjalmarsson is good for Arizona because Hjalmarsson is: a serviceable bottom four defenseman and a guy who looked good playing an easy role on a repeat Cup winner. You're giving them back both, in separate pieces, and younger. This allows them to trade either separately, when their team figures out which direction it's moving.
