I think it's debatable because of his age and contract plus his injury status.

They literally get nothing from this trade.... Maybe Oulette but definitely not close to enough

you get some cap relief long term and DeKeyser is not nothing. Would be a top 4 dman on your team

He's only in their top 4 because they gave away their top defensemen....

and DeKeyser is 28 with not much of a injury history. It would be a risk for Detroit to do this trade. A lot of Wings fans wouldn't like it I bet.

Detroit really has no players that any team would want in exchange for a top four d or a top 6 o. Detroit is going to have to rebuild using draft picks and free agent signings

Crosby has a history with concussions.... Dekeyser hasn't had many injuries... Therefore you should probably send that trade to PIT and explain to them how DET is taking the real risk in the trade

Hahahahahaha... Yeah you're funny. Forget Weber, especially for that kind of return. If we trade him this summer, just look the return. He still a top 10 Dmen in the league for every GM in the league. We will not get a Subban's value against, but let me tell you that everyone who consider Weber as a grand dad and as a bullet(contract) will be surprised. Let's wait and see.

No team will trade for that old man with that terrible contract. You wont get a deal better then this. The Wings would never do it though. He is making $7,857,143 for another six seasons. The guy will be 33 this summer. And he's an old 33, has a ton of miles on him.

We don't need cap relief

Weber would still be on Mike Babcock top pair on team Canada.

You are sending scraps to a team who has plenty of bottom six players and top 6 dman

if he comes back from injury the same/similar player he is a top 10 d in the league. Last year he was 6th in Norris voting 4th the year prior, 3rd the year before that and is always on the list. people need to get off the idea weber is no good or has no value. He had injury issues this year on a very bad team. If he continues to go down hill then jump on him but everywhere you look on capfriendly people rate players based on this year only. But your right if he doesn't come back ok to play we might have to LTIR or buy him out

He is not making that that is his cap hit. Next year he is at 6m x4 then 3m then 1m x3

Weber is not a cap dump. If my logic is not valid, why are YOU trading for him and playing him on your top pairing then?

Bruh. Weber is still a top tier d-man in this league. Why on earth Habs would give him up for 3 cap dump d-men that really aren't that much of an upgrade from Karl Alzner, Jordie Benn and David Schlemko?

looking for ZERO star but couldn't find it!
Sorry man but this is the worst offer I have seen so far for Weber....
If at least you have really tried and give AA or Nyguist... it would still be one side deal but!

yeah lol Weber is not for sale. The only way I'd give him up is if there was an overpayment, but I also fully understand teams not willing to pay that price due to Weber's contract. hence why he's probably never going to move. Weber is still an elite top pairing defensemen, heck when they had that NHLPA player poll. Weber was still being voted as one the most feared players to play against, and he barely played this season lol His injury is a non issue.
