Rask wasn't the problem. Miller and Krug along with Zero 5-5 goals from a forward after game one.
I love the Rask haters who offer no solution. Is he the best in the league? Nope. But he is top 6, easily, probably higher - Price, Quick, Holtby are the only three I would 100% rather have. I am excluding Vasilevsky because he has been good for exactly one season and I am pretty sure nobody was singing his praises after game one.
Who would you rather have that is viable?
Andersen: .896% -- 3.76 GAA vs 6th 270 goals.
Bobrovsky: .900% -- 3.00 GAA vs 9th - 259 regular season goals.
Rinne: .904% -- 3.07 GAA vs 2nd & 10th - 534 regular season goals.

Jones: .928% -- 2.26 GAA vs 4th & 18th - 507 regular season goals.
Dubnyk: .908% -- 3.39 GAA vs 2nd - 277 regular season goals.

Quick: .947% -- 1.55 GAA vs 4th - 272 regular season goals.
Varlamov: .913% -- 2.77 GAA vs 7th 267 regular season goals.
Kinkaid: .804% -- 5.88 GAA vs 1st - 296 regular season goals.
Hellebuyck: .927% --2.25GAA vs 7th & 11th - 520 regular season goals.
Fleury: .951% --1.53GAA vs 12th & 17th in scoring - 491 regular season goals.
Vasilvesky: .927% -- 2.20 GAA vs 6th & 14th in scoring - 518 regular season goals.
Rask: .903% -- 2.88 GAA vs 1st & 3rd in scoring - 573 Regular season goals.
Rask had by far the hardest road. Rinne was the closest and his numbers are almost identical. Closest = ~ .5 goals per game 39 total in regular season scoring.
