2nd year Hughes is better than Larkin, also doubt Stralman and Krug are let go by whichever teams they're on by 2021 (more so Krug, though).

It's fine besides that (but what happened to Veleno?)

Not a single expansion team will pick Helm from your team. I don't even know if he can be selected since he has a NTC on his contract.

NMC's require automatic protection unless waived by the payer, NTC's do not.

    Alright, thanks for clarifying it.

Krug could very well be done in Boston (if not traded) and sign elsewhere.

Is there speculation of him wanting out? I haven't seen any, but I've been wrong before.

If this was the Edmonton Oilers, back-to-back lotto winners would be highly possible.

No, but I don't see how Boston will be able to afford him along with all their other players. They'll have Grz, Moore, Zboril, Vaak, Lauzon all under contract or team controller and guys like McAvoy, Carlo, Heinen, Bjork, Donato, JFK, DeBrusk will all be off their ELC's. Factoring all that in, I can't see Boston willing to pay $7 million a year for what's honestly a PP specialist.

As awesome as winning back to back lotteries would be, this is a huge pipe dream and not based in reality. It would be very fun and exciting for this to actually happen though. I don't like Veleno and Bergrenn being left off the lineup. They both will be better players than Frk by then. I just don't see Detroit signing Frk to another contract. Justin Braun and Anton Stralman are getting older so I don't really like their additions, especially the term on those contracts. I think one of Lindstrom or McIsaac would be able to fill those roles. I like the Krug signing, and despite others not seeing him leaving Boston, I see this as a possibility. I'm also not a fan of Markstrom and think there could be better options available. Also Zetterberg will most likely have LTIR retired.

Even if Detroit finished dead last both years there is only a 3.4% chance of this happening.
