So if I read this right..
Winnipeg gives up Trouba and a 2nd and gets Parayko (lol not enough for Parayko)
Detroit gives up Hronek, their own 3rd and an Arizona 7th for Trouba (lol not even close to enough for Trouba)
and St.Louis gives up Parayko and only gets Myers (a pending UFA in the summer), Hronek, and a 2nd (not even close to enough for giving up Parayko)

How does St.Louis give up the best player and get the worst return out of this deal? .... 0/5 stars.

That's the first Trouba to Detroit trade I have liked and it might favor Detroit a little bit.

Winnipeg wants to move Trouba, I'm assuming it's because of his previous hold out and they probably don't want to sign him to a long term deal. The reason you wanted Hronek it to flip him for Parayko and you can send a player you don't want to a team he will have no problem going to. Now should that lower the asking price like from a 3rd to a 4th?

I like it, but STL is getting shorted, and considering the nature of their rebuild they'll want 1st round picks. Change that 2nd round pick to a 1st round pick, or send the 1st and mid-round pick.

It's not enough for a player like Trouba but Detroit isn't giving up a real good D prospect+ for a guy they're going to sign in free agency in 2020

They are both excellent players but if I had to choose I'd go with Trouba. I'm not saying he's way better but I do like him more.
