I wouldn't do either if I was Boston. Seems like an awful for for Schenn consider how high Boston is on Vaak and Frederic.

You do realize Schenn had 70 points last season right? If you wanna even be level with Tampa you guys are gonna have to trade a lot.

You do realize that looks like an outlier right?

He got hot for a couple months, he isn’t a 70 point kind of player. 55 is what I expect. He’s on pace for 48

and it was by far a career year for him lol

For his career prior to last season, his P/GP put him at a 46pt player. He exploded last year for 70 points and now has started to come back down to his average this year, where he's on pace for 50 points (4 off his career average before last season).

No team is paying for 70 point Schenn because he's not really a 70 point player lol.

Bruins adding Schenn doesn’t get them to the level on Tampa, Toronto, washington, Pittsburgh. They’d be better off paying more and bringing in a game changer like senko

Boston actually has played pretty well against those team you've listed...well outside of Washington lol.

vs TOR: 2-1-0 / +5 goal diff
vs TBL: 0-1-0 / -1 goal diff
vs PIT: 1-1-0 / -1 goal diff
vs WSH: 0-1-0 / -7 goal diff

So in total vs those teams you've listed, Boston is 3-4-0 / - 4 goal diff. Now that's drastically skewed because of the opener vs WSH, but Boston has also failed to ice their entire line-up all season long. Think about that, they've had major pieces missing all year long and are still fairing pretty well. Boston currently ranks 5th in GA/GP, but 18th in GF/GP. If they can improve their ES scoring, they'll be just fine. Schenn could help do that on the #2RW.

Still dude, outside of their top line, their roaster just isn’t nearly as deep as those mentioned above. They’ll probably make the playoffs as a 3rd seed and lose to the leafs. Schenn, while a good hockey player, isn’t an “elite” forward like senko is. Having
Marchand-berg-pasta
____-krecji-Tarasenko
(Not including debrusk cause he’ll probably be a piece that goes)
Would give them a much better top 6. I get they’ve been playing injured a lot of the season, but I just don’t see enough firepower in their roster to make a legit cup run

I got facts and stats you have an opinion based on what? Even right now with their current roster, the only two teams that scare me in the east are Tampa and Washington.

Okay mr bias bruins fan. You said they’re 18th in goals per game. That’s not gonna win you any playoff series. Leafs and pens would light the bruins up. Outside of their first line and krecji, their leading forward scorer is debrusk whose on pace for a whopping 41 points this season!!! After that it’s backes on pace for 25 whole points and Heinen on pace for 21 haha. That’s not nearly enough scoring to win in the east. They need another elite forward, and senko is that option. Adding Schenn won’t turn this team into contenders

I'm actually not biased at all, I'm probably one of the realistic Bruins fans on this site lol.

Look at the numbers so far during the regular season vs PIT/TOR. Again that is without a full line-up. You say TOR/PIT would light up the Bruins, yet point to Boston's GF/GP as evidence...weird thing is, getting lit up would mean they would be awful defensively, so what does their GF/GP have to do with anything.

Time will tell, but again the only east teams that concern me are TBL and WSH.

BTW Boston has 2 less points than PIT and 4 less than TOR...again without having a full line-up all year. Imagine where they'd be if they were healthy all season long.

I swear to god if one more person says roaster I’m going to flip my lid.
