Not sure you can call Bergeron underrated. Maybe 4-5 years ago, but not anymore. I think Krejci is more underrated

I don't think Pionk is considered underrated. I'd suggest Fast or Claesson.

Matt Grzelcyk is more underrated than Krejci in my opinion.

Poink is a top 4 defense propsect at the least but most people still see him as a top 4 d prospect at most.

Pionk gets a lot of attention for his power play skills and his scoring ability, but he's a liability in his own zone.

Rantanen has been about as good as Kucherov this year but people say he will only get 8M next year, that's underrated IMO. Compher is a good competitor though. Kerfoot is another one.

They all deserve more recognition than they get in my opinion.

Maybe among non-Bruins fans, but he's boarderline overrated by most Bruins fans TBH.

His offensive stats this year outperform Werenski's last year. He may not be great in the defensive zone but his offensive abilities are among some elite young defensemen like Sergachev, Provorov, and Werenski.

Marleau has been straight up bad. I'd give it to Andreas Johnsson for Toronto

Most players other than Tavares, Matthews, Marner, and Nylander on Toronto are underrated. Kadri and Lindholm probably the most because they are overshadowed by Tavares and Matthews.

Imo Krejci. He's treated like dirt by fans but has similar offense production to Bergeron over the last 3 seasons, without nearly the talent around him. When Bergy went down and Krejci slid between Marchand and Pasta he showed what he could do with elite talent.

Everyone is so caught up on Marchand, Bergeron, and Pastrnak everyone else like Krejci, Heinen, DeBrusk, Forsbacka-Karlsson, Donato, etc. is almost forgotten.

I think Rantanen, Pionk and Horvat are overrated, don't agree with Stamkos, I think Monahan and Backlund are about equal players, but Monahan gets way more credit. I think Klefbom is a good one for the Oilers. I think most others are fair picks

Among B's fans, DeBrusk doesn't really get forgotten about. Most games, fans on the board rave about DeBrusk. I'm a big fan of his game and he's viewed as the #4 forward by most fans.

Heinen - gets crapped on because he's not a flashy player, doesn't show a lot of emotion and doesn't put people through the glass. He's basically a winger version of Krejci and for some reason fans don't seem to like him (outside of a select few). In all honesty Heinen a solid two-way winger that should be a consistent 50 point guy as he develops. If I put a comp on him it would be a Loui Eriksson type.

JFK - fans are starting to come around on him, but the expectations were set so high for him when he was draft (Bergeron 2.0) that when he didn't make an impact immediately, he was written off by many fans. Even now most Bruins fans see him as a #3C at most. I still think he could be a solid #2 and if he really maxes out a #1 Bergeron type. He's actually one of my favorite players to watch because of all the little details to his game.

Donato - some fans soured on him when he wasn't competing for the rocket this season lol. Some have started to turn on him and say Boston is playing favorites because of who his father is and his ties to Boston. He'll be good, he just needs seasoning. He's actually played really well the last 2-3 games on a line with Heinen/JFK (go figure) and I'm hoping the offense starts to pile up for him.

Krejci - Talked about previously lol.

Lindholm has not been an NHL level player let alone underrated. Kadri I totally agree on, Dermott would be my pick though if you're talking about people outside of the Leafs fan base
