These deals are pretty solid, but I would add a pick of some kind to the Lindholm deal.

Thanks man! Yeah I would start there if I was Bergevin, maybe if ANA wants a pick then propose a 3rd or 4th and move the negociations on from there!

I think Gally as a better value for us Hab fan... I don't think Ana need that type of player IMO.
and Gally is VERY important for us!
Would Ana consider Tatar instead of him?

The ANA deal, value wise is there. I don't know how willing Habs would be to give up on Gallagher though.

I don't think the DAL trade makes sense. Lehkonen is the better player there AND the Habs give up a 2nd? That doesn't make sense. I rather go for Burakovsky than him.

I feel you man, I LOVE Gallagher, and since Corey Perry's pretty much done and Silfverberg is going into UFA, they need a good RW in my opinion. Gally's still young, he's great and he would rip it in the Western Conference I'm sure. He doesn't come cheap, because Lindholm's a great young defenseman and he would play in MTL for a long time!

Also, Peca could use another chance.

Basicly my thinking here is, TECHNICLY, Nichushkin should have the better potential of the 2. I know he's been struggling but maybe a change of scenery would benefit the guy. Plus, I don't think DAL are willing to listen if we don't make it really worth. I think Lekhonen and a pick would definitly capture their attention.

Maybe start by offering Lehkonen and then move the negociations from there?

Not a fan of either trade, the Anaheim one is a purely emotional hatred though because losing Gallagher but I really like Lindholm. The Dallas trade I hate because it's bad for MTL, Nichuskin hasnt been the top 10 pick he was projected to be, this year is proving it. His value is far lower than Lehkonens.

Playing out west... getting Gally & Peca both 5'8''... not sure if this is what they are looking for bros!
For Lindholm... I would give ALOT trust me= Tatar, Peca, 1st ( Tatar would replace easily Silv , Peca depth C and 1st 18-20 OA pick)

It would be hard seeing Gallagher go... But I believe it's the price to pay for a young Top2 LHD. But you're right.

The DAL is definitly risky!

Bergevin is not opened to trading his 1st round picks - that's why I'm looking into ways to get what we need without doing so. That means trading valuable assets like Gallagher!

I agree Gallagher is worth more to MTL than the value he has to other teams you can't just trade away a guy like that especially for that golden contract of his.

No way Nichushkin commands that return right now. He has been abysmal this year. Lehkonen is poised for his best season of his career.

Both guys are the same age here so the only thing going for Nichushkin is his higher potential being a former 1st rounder but Lehkonen himself was a 2nd rounder and is getting better. Nichushkin has been declining every year since he had that bad injury a couple years ago.

No way in hell does the Habs have to add a 2nd rounder. it would be a 1 vs 1 if anything.

Allow me to introduce you to our right-handed forwards: Rakell, Kase, Sprong, Sherwood and Terry, plus Silfverberg (UFA) and Perry and Eaves (IR). The last thing we need is another RW.

Lindholm was a sixth-overall pick who has lived up to that evaluation. Any trade for him includes a first-round pick plus a top-ten roster player.
